The first 10 Amendments to the Constitution of the United States are what is known as the "Bill of Rights". The rights enumerated therein are not rights granted to us by the government or by the Constitution. The Bill of Rights are not Constitutional rights. They are "inalienable" rights; that is, they exist apart from any document or government edict. "The Bill of Rights is the list of fundamental ...rights [given] to man by his Creator, that defines what it means to be...free...."
(The Second Amendment Primer by Les Adams, page 245). These rights are God-given. While I focus on the Second Amendment, you do need to familiarize yourself with all 10 of them for all are being denied us, little by little. Get a copy today and begin to study it. (Click HERE for a printable copy of the Bill of Rights)That those rights are not "granted" or "given" by man has been noted by the Supreme Court in times past. In U.S. vs. Cruickshank the Court, speaking of the Second Amendment said it is ".....not a right granted by the Constitution. Neither is it in any manner dependant upon that instrument for its existence."
In other words, even if "they" could repeal the Second Amendment, that repeal would not be legitimate. Man did not give man this right. Therefore man cannot take it away. Any group or government that attempts to do so (with any part of the Bill of Rights) is criminal and illegitimate, even if it has the majority of the voters behind it, and does not require obedience. By acting in such a manner as to try an deny God-given rights, such a government has lost any moral authority to govern and has become an enemy of the people. It has become a tyranny. Those who are part of it are tyrants.
Please do not be nice to those who are attempting to destroy freedom, for they are enemies. However misguided, however honest in their beliefs, they are ENEMIES WHO ARE INTENT ON MAKING YOU AND YOUR DESCENDANTS SLAVES. While you do not need to be rude, crude or obnoxious with them, you can politely point out that what they are doing is treason, punishable by death. Mention to them they are tyrants, morally unfit to make decisions that affect other people, let alone the Nation. Point out to them that they are enemies of God as well. And you might consider keeping their names on file, for we may yet be able to have them arrested and tried for treason.
While we still have the opportunity let us do everything we can to make changes through the Ballot Box. Not only
VOTE - go out and register everyone you can and teach them to vote..... for freedom! Spend a day a month gathering up people, registering them, and talking to them about freedom. We still can turn this country around with God's help.That's my opinion.
