Historical Info -- my way of life changed so I no longer drive a Land-Rover :-(
Groenie, Spikkels, White LR	I don't drive a Land-Rover because it's a 4x4. I drive a Land-Rover because it's a way of life. Driving a Land-Rover is fun. Don't believe me, read this posting from the Land Rover Owner Mailing List. (This should also give you an idea of my definition of 'fun' :-)

Technical Stuff

• Rewiring a Land-Rover : Part 1. I had to redo the entire wiring of the yellow Rand-Lover, I'm pretty happy with the results.

  • Overhauling a Chev 2.5 engine: Costing of a complete overhaul in 2002.
  • Overhauling another Chev 2.5 engine: I suspected that the leak I had on the rear end of the crank was caused by the crank being ground for a polymer seal while the block used a rope seal, so I decided to rather get another engine (they're cheap). I still have oil leaks but it looks as if it's not from the rear seal any more.
