I have no idea where the 10,35 or even the 10,40 measurement comes from, the bullet is 10,72mm, the lands are around 10,6 / 10,65 and the grooves presumably somewhere in hetween.
You can make ammo using 44-40 or 44 Special / Magnum brass, a 303 sizing die, and a 45ACP seating die. You need to size 44 caliber (which is actually .429") bullets down to .422".
