An 8-digit scientific calculator from ~1975.
The VFD has 12 digits, the first is used for -, and the last three for scientific notation (sign and two digits).
The brains is a Rockwell A4802CA dated September 1976. That and a two transistor charge pump for the VFD, couple of diodes, some passives, we're done.
Peek & Poke in Rijeka has an Adler 80C and 81S from pretty much the same era.
